Detailed NCAA Football 13 Team Ratings

ncaa football 13 overall rankings

The guys over at Tradition Sports Online put together a nice list of each teams ratings in NCAA Football 13.  Their list includes overall, offense, defense, and prestige ratings for every team in the game.

The first thing that caught my eye was the overall team ratings being higher than I remember.  It has always been much easier to be rated a 99 in NCAA Football in Madden but when 5 teams are rated 99 overall, it does seem like a re-adjustment of the ratings should be made.  Those teams with the 99 overall rating are LSU, Oregon, USC, Texas, and Wisconsin.  Umass has the honor of being rated the lowest team with a 60 overall rating.

The ratings are listed as a reference below. Who do you think is overrated or underrated?  Let us know in the comments section or in our NCAA Football 13 forum.

    1. @Greg J.
Because this is for the 2013 season, not the 2012 season. Alabama lost a ton of starters.
I doubt anyone predicts them to repeat with their lack of experience.

      1. wow, you havent watched much football have you?
nick saban really struggles to reload…….i mean rebuild
apparently texas does amazing with it and michigan, wonder how that happened? i mean, its not like michigan alum produce this game or anything
its all about money and apparently bama fans dont buy as many copies as the team they beat who also loses a lot of talent and starters

        1. Michigan had the best recruiting class last year that’s why. Think and research before you speak otherwise you sound ignorant

  1. I’m glad to see the NCAA 13 ratings are still artificially kept high (unlike the chinese currency) just to keep all the schools and players happy.

  2. I would have loved to see UCLA higher than a 2 star prestige. I think a 3 star would be a little more accurate. It still has a certain tradition of excellence and a very nice history.

  3. I agree with you Promee. I mean Indiana only won one game all last year and it was against a D-II school yet they are a 77 overall and aren’t even the worse team on the game rating wise.

  4. UCLA Prestige should be a little higher like a 3 and 4 at best …They are a PAC 12 South Division Champion with a desire to win and a great history of success and at the rose bowl which averages 60,000 peaople on average every saturday 90,000 at max

  5. Michigan State is EXTREMELY UNDERRATED! They had the #1 defense in the Big Ten last year and a top 10 defense in the country and only lost 2 starters. They return 19 of their top 22 on defense and have potential First-Team All Americans in DE Will Gholston and CB Johhny Adams. Their rating of 89 is horrendous and because of it I will not buy the game unless their rating gets changed.

  6. Wisconsin is a 99? How? I understand Montee Ball is a beast. But they are losing 3 people off the O Line, Toon is gone and more importantly Russell Wilson is gone. Their D also isn’t top notch either. Their LB’s in Taylor and Borland are beasts but they lose 2 of the playmakers in the secondary.

Michigan’s defense is overrated in this game. They had a very good year statistically last year, but they are replacing their whole defensive line.

Penn State’s defense is underrated. They were stout last year. Losing Lynn and Still is tough, but Hodges is going to be a beast and they have a strong D line. I think a 92 or 93 is more accurate

MSU’s defense is vastly underrated. They were one of the top units in the nation last year and they return everyone but Worthy and Robinson. They were very deep last year and they were dominant. Watch their bowl game against Georgia, it was nasty. I would say their defense should be ranked 95 at worst. MSU’s defense is ranked 2 pts worse than Clemson’s who let WVU hang 70 on them in the Orange Bowl. pathetic

  7. absolutely terrible, i have been suckered into buying this game for the last time. i have to believe that you guys are paid off by certain schools. please say im right and that you guys really arent this clueless.
“swing and a miss” is the best way to describe this game for the last few years now.
will no longer buy or play this game

  8. are they workin on an arcade game? THose ratings are ridiculous! I’m a miami fan but i don’t know if they should be quite a 91 and that doesn’t even go on to mention 99’s from oregon wisconsin and usc, i understand they should be high but the highest is a step too far, a 99 team should be one that they are basically going out on a limb to say the are one of the bests of all time, if thats not the message ncaa wants to send, then grade the best teams around a 90 like madden

  9. how arkansas 95 when texas is 99, and plus the only teams arkansas lost to was lsu and alabama the #1 and #3 teams
