Option Will Be in Madden 13

I saw a video the other day showing Cam Newton running the option in Madden 13. What are your thoughts on the option being added to the game? Is it good because it increases realism? Will it be exploited? What do you think?

It needs to be controlled to specific playbooks AND players. Then it would be a very nice feature

I am sure they wil control it to specific playbooks like Carolina, Washington, and maybe NYJ. And it will be somewhat controlled for different players since you won't be running the option with a quarterback like Tom Brady.

I think in order for people to really buy into and believe they're trying to make a realistic game it has to be included. But i can see it being exploited like many other things in the game.

I dont see it really being effective but I do think that its good they added it even tho they dont run the option in the NFL much.

Agreed. Even if it is effective, good players will find a way to shut it down relatively quickly.

Yea just like the wildcat some people could use it good but the better players were able to stop it.

I dont think it will be a problem with the additions made in the game.. especially on defense.. Im pretty sure someone will exploit it tho.. Its bound to happen
