New draft league

Hey guys,

SO our current league has a few weeks of life left in it. BOOOO

But we're constantly thinking of ways to improve the next league.

With that said we are creating a new draft league that will have a salary cap. The details are sketchy at the moment but what I can tell you is how the cap will work. Each player will have "$300" to spend on players. So for example Mike Napoli would be worth say $38 and Jp Arencibia would be $12 and so on and so on. You will have to draft between 35 to 40players. Teams will draft in a round by round basis using the snake model (pick 1 - pick 30 then 30 - 1 and so on )

Myself and Helms are busy creating a list of players with values attached. Once the list is completed we will let everyone know.

The amount of players will be dictated by the amount of interest but I shouldnt think there will be more than 15/20 teams.

So what do you guys think?

think of it as the same as regular draft, but each player has a value and you have a finite amount of cash to buy/draft said player

Never cease to amaze me Ritch lol. I think this sounds really cool. Adds additional strategy, keeps stuff fresh. I like the length of the league we're in right now, but it seemed to be over fairly quickly. Maybe a bit longer schedule? I'm very intrigued by this, hopefully the draft will work out well for us this time.

im thinking of maybe 25/30 games but over a long period of time? that way you dont have a game to play everyday

The list of players along with a letter grade as to how good they are at that skill plus lefty right or switch plus the amunt that player costs to draft.....taken a bit of time to get it done but its here so if any of you would like tot take a look at it pm me your email!
