NHL 13 Cover Vote Begins

The Madden 13 cover vote has been under way for a few weeks now and because of it’s wild success EA Sports is expanding the idea to other sports video game titles like NHL 13.  The NHL 13 cover vote begins today over on NHL.com with 2 representative from each team.  The first round runs through April 11th when the tournament will be narrowed down to 30 players.

In the round of 30, the 16 players with the most overall votes will advance to the round of 16 where it will proceed as a normal tournament.  Who would you like to see on the NHL 13 cover?

NHL 13 Release Date Announced

Major retailers such as Amazon.com have the NHL 13 release date listed for September 11, 2012.  This announcement comes as no surprise considering that last year’s hockey game, NHL 12, came out on September 13th.  EA Sports generally releases demos for their games 3-4 weeks before the release date so we should be playing another hockey game by mid-August.

Amazon.com has the game available for pre-order about 6 months early, but if you are a true fan and want to make sure you get NHL 13 the day it comes out, you can do so by following this link.
