EA Sports College Football Game To Feature Three Major Game Modes

It’s hard to believe but after an 11 year hiatus, we are just months away from a new college football video game!

Even though over a decade has passed since NCAA Football 14 was released (we remember since we were here covering it) fans everywhere are still as passionate as ever.

What was originally supposed to be a 2023 release got pushed back to 2024 but we’ve received confirmation from CollegeFootball.gg that three of the most important game modes will be in EA Sports College Football 25.

First and foremost, not only will dynasty mode be in the game, it is EA Sports’ #1 priority in the game.

The details on it are still a little scarce but we can have confidence that it’ll be just as good as in the older NCAA Football video games.

Road to Glory will also be in the game. How exactly it will work with recruiting and NIL deals and everything else still remains to be seen.

And finally the game mode we all knew was coming: Ultimate Team. You’ll be able to build your dream team by purchasing packs, working the auction house, and grinding the game.

As long as the priority remains dynasty mode, we’ll be fine with Ultimate Team in the game.

After all, the more money EA is able to make from the Ultimate Team high rollers, the better chance the franchise has to survive.

EA Sports College Football 25 is set to be released exclusively on the PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X|S. You’ll be able to get your hands on it in July!

Expanded 12 Team Playoff In EA Sports College Football 25

The new college football playoff format that expands to 12 teams starting in 2024 will be in the new college football video game made by EA Sports.

The last NCAA Football game to be released was NCAA Football 14 all the way back in July 2013.

That game still used the BCS system so officially there will be no college football video game with the 4-team college football playoff we’ve grown accustom to for the past decade.

This news comes via CollegeFootball.gg who went into detail on exactly how the playoff system will work in EA’s College Football 25 game.

The new system will have 4 rounds meaning that it will last at least 4 weeks. It is expected to start in late December and with the championship game taking place in mid/late January.

This new system should make it significantly easier for any major program to compete for a title. 50% of the top 25 teams will get a spot with some priority for conference champions.

EA Sports College Football 25 is expected to be released in Summer 2024 on the XBOX Series X|S and the PlayStation 5.

How To Properly Run The NCAA 14 GNU Option

NCAA Football 14 has only been out for a week and already some outrageous tips and glitches are surfacing on the internet.  We put together a YouTube video going over how to run the GNU Option (named after Madden-School.com founder Modrewgnu) the proper way in NCAA Football 14.

If you don’t run it with the correct timing, you will get called for offensive pass interference.  If you don’t run it with the correct hot routes, the play won’t be very effective.

The video below explains the GNU option in detail including the setup, why it works, and how to counter it.

NCAA Football 14 Demo Release Date Scheduled

Big news coming out of the EA Sports booth at E3 in Los Angeles.  The much anticipated demo for the first major sports video game of the year, NCAA Football 14, will be coming to both the PlayStation 3 and the XBOX 360 on Tuesday, June 18th.  The release date aligns with the industry standard of about 3 weeks prior to the full game.

As always, you will be allowed to download the NCAA 14 demo via the PSN Store and XBOX Live.

NCAA Football 14 will not be on the PlayStation 4 or the XBOX one this year but look for NCAA 15 to be on the next gen consoles.

Unfortunately we don’t know which teams will be featured in the NCAA Football 14 demo or any other details such as quarter length or specific features it will be highlighting.

NCAA Football 14 in it’s full version is scheduled to come out on July 9th, 2013.  PreOrder.org has a great page with all sorts of NCAA Football 14 information for those of you who ae craving more news.

Recruiting and Coach Skills Highlight NCAA Football 14 Dynasty Mode

The internet seems to be torn about today’s announcement on NCAA Football 14 dynasty mode.  As fans, we expect games with yearly installations to build on the previous version in an effort constantly make a better game.  At the same time, we want improvements and the removal of features we don’t like.

Based on the announcement today, it doesn’t seem as if much has been added to dynasty mode in NCAA 14.  Recruiting has been simplified from something that was fairly in-depth to a simple point allocation system.  From one viewpoint, this is a great addition because it is much less time consuming.  However, other fans are outraged because it was a popular part of the game that required some strategy and thinking.

The other feature touched on in the video this morning was Coach skills being added to this year’s game.  That seems like a feature that was added just to say that they added something as it doesn’t seem to do all that much.

What do you think about the features added to NCAA Football 14 dynasty mode?  Let us know in the comments section.
