If You Play Dynasty Fantasy Football, You Need to Know About RosterAudit

Dynasty fantasy football has a data problem. Not a lack of data. The opposite. There are a million tools out there that claim to help you evaluate trades, scout players, and manage your roster. Most of them either lock the good stuff behind a paywall or spit out values that feel like they were pulled from thin air.

RosterAudit.com is a newer site that takes a different approach, and it’s worth bookmarking if you play on Sleeper.

The core idea is simple. Instead of having some analyst hand-pick player values based on vibes, RosterAudit pulls from thousands of real dynasty trades happening on Sleeper every day and crunches them into player valuations. That means the values actually reflect what real managers are paying in real leagues, not what some talking head thinks Jonathan Taylor is worth.

The headline tool is the Trade Calculator, which lets you plug in a deal and see whether you’re winning, losing, or if it’s a wash. It factors in draft picks too, and if you’re in a TEP league, there’s a toggle for that. There’s also a screenshot grader where you take a screenshot of a trade offer on Sleeper, upload it, and the tool reads the image and grades the deal for you. Pretty slick for when you’re arguing with your leaguemates at 11pm.

The Player Rankings are the foundation everything else is built on. These aren’t opinion-based tiers. They’re derived from actual trade activity, so when a player’s value is shifting, you see it here before the podcast guys catch on.

Where it gets interesting for the more obsessive managers (you know who you are) is the league-specific stuff. The League Deep Dive connects to your Sleeper league and breaks down every roster. The Trade Grades tool goes back through your league’s trade history and grades every deal, which is either satisfying or painful depending on your track record. And the Draft Grades feature does the same thing for your rookie drafts.

There’s also a Stats Explorer with snap trends, aging curves, and buy/sell indicators, plus a GM Scouting Report that profiles your trade partners so you can figure out what kind of manager you’re negotiating with before you send an offer.

The whole thing is free. No paywall, no “premium tier” where the actually useful features live. Just a clean set of tools that run on real data.

If you’re deep into Sleeper dynasty leagues and you haven’t checked it out yet, RosterAudit.com is worth 10 minutes of your time. You’ll probably end up spending a lot more than that.
