Another NBA 2K12 Roster Update Arrives

The second NBA 2K12 roster update in the last 3 days has been released today.  In the last update, Jeremy Lin was boosted from a 55 to a 69.  Many fans did not think that a 69 was a fair rating based on the way he has been playing lately so after this update Jeremy Lin now is a 75 overall.

2K Sports has been all over the place this year in the consistency of their roster updates.  Before the update 3 days ago, we had to wait 3 very long weeks before Jeremy Lin’s play forced them to correct his stats.  Is 75 overall a fair rating for Lin?  Let us know in the comments section.

MLB 2K12 Soundtrack

MLB 2K12 has partnered with Spin Media to produce the MLB 2K12 soundtrack.  There are 13 songs featured in this year’s Major League Baseball game.  MLB 2K12 comes out on March 6th, 2012 on the XBOX 360.  Check out the soundtrack below:

FIFA Street Tips & Tricks

FIFA Street has implemented a variety of tricks including step overs, body fakes, roulette, rainbow, flip flap, and standing on the ball.  All of these tricks will require you to learn how to use the right analog stick.  Watch the video below to get instructions for each individual move.  Once you pick up FIFA Street on March 13th try these tricks out and you will be looking cool and dominating your opponent at the same time.

FIFA & Madden 12 Sales Totals

ea logoEA Sports has released the sales totals for their 2 most popular sports video game titles FIFA 12 and Madden 12.  FIFA 12 sold 10 millions copies while the popular football game Madden 12 sold 5 million.  These numbers are total sales all the way through to the consumer as opposed to sales to retail stores like our report on NBA 2K12’s 4 million copies sold.  FIFA 12 sales are great in comparison to the blockbuster shooter franchise Battlefield 3 which also sold 10 million copies.  It looks like the NFL lockout and the release date being pushed back 3 weeks didn’t seem to hurt sales of Madden 12.

NBA 2K12 “Jeremy Lin” Update

nba 2k12 lin updateNBA 2K12 has released it’s latest roster update which we are referring to as the “Jeremy Lin” update.  After leading the Knicks to an undefeated record while playing without Caremlo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire, JLin was only given a 69 overall rating.  If his dominant play maintains over the next few weeks, there is no question that he will be around an 80 overall in the next update.  The roster update is now live on both XBOX 360 and PlayStation 3.  Do you think a 69 overall rating for Jeremy Lin is fair?  Let us know in the comments section.

MLB 12: The Show Diamond Dynasty Trailer

When news leaked out a few months ago about a brand new mode to MLB 12: The Show called “Diamond Dynasty,” no one knew what to make of it.  In this video Nick Livingston, Designer for MLB The Show, goes over what you can expect in the new game mode.  Basically, Diamond Dynasty is a mode where you can customize your team exactly the way you want it. You can change everything from your name to your team colors to who you want starting in left field.
