NBA 2k12 Roster Update #9

nba 2k12 roster update 9The ninth roster update for NBA 2k12 is now available.  Some of the notable updates include the addition of Andrew Bynum to the Lakers after his suspension and Keith Smart as the Kings coach.  Many of the second round picks that weren’t included in previous updates have now been added to the game.  However, there are still a few rookies missing.  Some players who have been part of their teams the whole season can not yet be used online because they are listed as reserves.

Michael Redd has joined the Phoenix Suns, Mickeal Pietrus has been added to the Boston Celtics, and Jeremy Lin is now on the New York Knicks.  What do you think is missing from this roster update?  Let us know in the comments section.

Rookies Join NBA 2k12 Game

The NBA lockout caused a huge disruption to the organizations and businesses in NBA cities.  But that wasn’t the impact that gamers noticed.  NBA 2k12 enthusiasts noticed that the rookies that their teams drafted weren’t in this year’s game. Fortunately that has all changed now that the rookies have now signed contracts and the season is underway.

Some notable rookies include:

  1. Kemba Walker (Charlotte Bobcats) – 76 Overall
  2. Kyrie Irving (Cleveland Cavaliers) – 76 Overall
  3. Derrick Williams (Minnesota Timberwolves) – 70 Overall

The excitement of coming home with a new video game is quickly met with frustration over the inability to understand what all the buttons do.  In this video, the guys over at 2K Sports make it really easy on those of you who just picked up NBA 2k12.  If you are an advanced player, feel free to skip this video entirely as it just goes over very basic controls.
