Madden NFL 25 Release Date Confirmed

Madden NFL 25 will be available starting on August 27th, 2013 on the PlayStation 3 and the XBOX 360 game consoles.  Most fans expected this year’s game to be titled Madden 14 but EA Sports had different things in mind and named the game Madden 25 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Madden NFL video game franchise.

Earlier in the week, our favorite Madden tips provider, Madden-School.com confirmed that we will indeed see Madden 25 on the last Tuesday in August.  A few years back, it was common practice to release the NFL game around the 10th of the month or so.  EA Sports decided to push the release date back in 2011 due to the NFL lockout and apparently liked the late August release date better as they have kept it there for the past 3 years.

EA Sports does run a program which they call “Season Ticket” which allows hardcore gamers the chances to get the game 3 days early in exchange for a $25 yearly subscription.  If you can’t live without Madden, that is an option you may want to explore.

Demos for sports video games usually come out anywhere from 2 weeks to 1 month before the actually game.  Look for the Madden 25 demo to make its way onto PSN and XBOX Live sometime in early August.

We do have a Madden 25 wishlist up on our forum so if you want to get your ideas in front of the game developers, feel free to leave your ideas.

  1. Please stop allowing 1 person to play in team play community matches. It’s cheap and all they do is allow the computer QB to throw the ball. No skill at all. If you want to get bum smacked then get at me PSN bluesmoke563
