Georgia Tech vs. Clemson Gameplay

EA Sports is continuing to put out plenty of new videos every day at E3.  Today the crew put together a 6 minute clip of Georgia Tech vs. Clemson.  Now that the NCAA Football 13 team ratings are out, we know that Clemson is a 97 overall and Georgia Tech is an 87 overall.

This is our first real look at the triple option in NCAA Football 13.  The video is embedded below so you can check it out for yourself.  Let us know what you think in the comments section.

Detailed NCAA Football 13 Team Ratings

ncaa football 13 overall rankings

The guys over at Tradition Sports Online put together a nice list of each teams ratings in NCAA Football 13.  Their list includes overall, offense, defense, and prestige ratings for every team in the game.

The first thing that caught my eye was the overall team ratings being higher than I remember.  It has always been much easier to be rated a 99 in NCAA Football in Madden but when 5 teams are rated 99 overall, it does seem like a re-adjustment of the ratings should be made.  Those teams with the 99 overall rating are LSU, Oregon, USC, Texas, and Wisconsin.  Umass has the honor of being rated the lowest team with a 60 overall rating.

The ratings are listed as a reference below. Who do you think is overrated or underrated?  Let us know in the comments section or in our NCAA Football 13 forum.

NCAA 13 CPU vs. CPU Gameplay From E3

Another NCAA Football 13 video came out of the EA booth at E3 today.  The video below shows a cpu vs. cpu game featuring West Virginia and Texas.  It doesn’t show us too much but if you haven’t had a chance to play the demo yet or if you are just looking for some extra gameplay footage, take a look at the video.

NCAA Football 13 is still set to come out on July 10th, 2012.

NCAA Football 13 Demo Released!

ncaa 13 demo release

The NCAA Football 13 demo is now out on XBOX 360 and the PlayStation 3 will follow shortly.  This is the earliest a demo for NCAA Football has ever been released.  EA Sports looked to time the announcement with E3 possibly to try to draw away from the fact that NCAA 13 will not have the new physics engine that was revealed yesterday in Madden 13.

If you share the demo, you get 5 new NIKE Pro Combat Uniforms.  The demo gives you 3 matchups: Kansas State Vs. Baylor, LSU vs. Alabama, and USC vs. Oregon with 3 minute quarters.  Check out the newest trailer below.

Scouting in Dynasty Mode Gets Revamped

NCAA Football 13 will see much improved scouting in the popular dynasty mode.  In the past, scouting a player didn’t tell you too much about his real in-game attributes.  This year, depending on how many hours you spend on a recruit, you receive more and more information and specific player ratings for that player.

This is a big improvement on paper but it remains to be seen how much of an impact it has on the game.  Most experienced dynasty players know that 4.26 speed translates to 97-99 speed.  However this information could be very useful if you are interested in more obscure stats like route running, or impact blocking.

You can judge for yourself in the video below.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have Herschel Walker on your favorite college football team?  NCAA Football 13 will allow you to play that fantasy out in its brand new feature titled, “Heisman Challenge.”  Yesterday we showed you screenshots of Tim Tebow and Robert Griffin III in this game mode and today we have the full details.  In this new feature, you will be able to take previous Heisman trophy winner’s and place them on any team you would like.

If you download the NCAA Football 13 demo, you will get additional Heisman winners Jim Plunkett, Archie Griffin, and Tim Brown. If you pre-order from Gamestop, you will receive Tim Tebow, Mark Ingram and Matt Leinart.
