Barry Sanders will be joining Robert Griffin III on the cover of NCAA Football 13.  Sanders beat out Herschel Walker in the finals of the 8 man tournament.  NCAA Football 13 will have an added focus on the Heisman trophy.  More information will be released in the upcoming weeks.

Yesterday EA Sports released some huge news concerning NCAA Football 13.  There will be 25 new types of pass trajectories whereas before you were forced to either throw a bullet pass or a skyball lob pass.  In this year’s game you will be able to place the pass over linebackers, or inside of the safeties.  Another major improvement that has plagued past NCAA Football games is the abolishment of psychic defensive backs who just happen to know where the ball is even without looking.

These were 2 of the main concerns brought up by the hardcore community and the casual players because both were just incredibly unrealistic.  If you watch the video below, you can tell there are still some flaws with the gameplay in NCAA 13 but the major problems look to be getting worked out.  What do you think of these improvements?  Let us know in the comments section below.

The first significant news on this year’s NCAA Football 13 game came out today on the EA Sports website.  The team in charge of making NCAA Football 13 held a live webcast to go over some of their thoughts on NCAA 13 and the direction they are taking it.  The focus today was all about sights and sounds.

Some features we get to look forward to are a new and more advanced lighting system, trophy presentations, more realistic crowd chants and improved in-game commentary.  For most of us dedicated football fans, today was just a teaser.  On April 17th, the NCAA Football 13 team will go over gameplay.  Check out the full NCAA Football 13 features release schedule for complete details on when more news will be coming.

The tournament of previous Heisman Trophy winners for the right to be on the NCAA Football 13 cover is down to the final 2.  Herschel Walker will take on Barry Sanders in the final round with the winner appearing on the cover alongside this year’s Heisman trophy winner Robert Griffin III.  You can still get your vote in at the facebook app.  Who do you want to see win?

Voting for the first round of the NCAA Football 13 cover tournament has ended with 4 past Heisman winners advancing and 4 others dropping out.  Desmond Howard defeated Eddie George, Herschel Walker defeated Marcus Allen, Barry Sanders defeated Andre Ware, and Doug Flutie beat out Charlie Ward.

The semifinals will match Herschel Walker against Desmond Howard and Barry Sanders against Doug Flutie.  Voting continues on the Facebook app.  The winners of this round will be announced next Monday.  Who will be getting your vote?
