MLB 2K12 Official Trailer

This year’s MLB 2K12 game is set to come out on March 6th, the same day that MLB 12: The Show is scheduled to be released. While we have lots of news, screenshots, and trailers about The Show, news on MLB 2K12 has been kept largely a secret. Today, 2K Sports released their official trailer for MLB 2K12 that includes 90 seconds of actual in-game footage. Feel free to watch the full trailer and leave your comments below.

NBA Jam: On Fire Roster Update

2 weeks ago EA Sports made the announcement that they would be sticking by their promise to provide at least 1 roster update for their basketball arcade game NBA Jam: On Fire. That update arrived earlier today and can be downloaded by going to the Online Arena Section. It is a very basic update with only star players being moved around and unfortunately no rookies were added.

A few days ago we broke down the MLB 2k12 $1 million dollar giveaway. Now that the first information on the game has started to leak out, an official teaser trailer has been released by 2k Sports. In the video below Justin Verlander asserts his dominance over a rookie just called up from the minor leagues.

The game was released back in October while the NBA lockout was still going on and 3 months later there are still no roster updates and until today no word from EA Sports on the matter. Prominent media outlets such as Kotaku and PastaPadre as well as many angry customers had requested a response concerning the lack of roster updates. Kotaku received confirmation earlier today that there will in fact be a roster update for NBA Jam: On Fire.

The 2 on 2 arcade game is available for download on the PS3 and the XBOX 360. There is no official word yet on when the roster update will be coming or how often they will be. Are you more likely to purchase NBA Jam now that you know there will be roster updates?
