Enhancing Screen Passes in NCAA Football 13

Screen passes have been a big part of  football video games over the last few years but one problem they have always had is they take a long time to develop.  In today’s NCAA Football 13 video tip we are going to show you a way to make those running back screens a little quicker.

Formation: Army Split Backs

Play: HB Slip Screen

Setup:

  1. Hot route your Triangle/Y running back to a wheel route
  2. Hot route you L1/LB running back to a swing left.

If you throw the pass at the right time you will have lots of blockers and an open field.  Watch the video below for the full breakdown.

Great NCAA 13 Running Play (Army Split HB Draw)

In today’s NCAA Football 13 tip, we are going over one of the best pure running plays in the game.  If used correctly, you should gain a solid chunk of yards.  Make sure to fix it into a nice scheme out of the Army Split formation for best results.  Tomorrow we will be posting another play out of the same formation that you can mix in.

Formation: Army Split

Play: HB Draw

Setup: Just motion the slot receiver to the left and snap the ball once he gets behind the center.

Huge NCAA Football 13 Glitch

Those of you who follow VG Strategy know that we love our sports video games so we play them as soon and as often as we can.  While playing NCAA Football 13 a few days ago, I noticed a weird glitch during an online game versus a buddy of mine.  Pretty much when it is done, the entire defense either goes into QB spies or rushes the quarterback leaving your wide receivers wide open down the field.  Just to emphasize how dangerous it is, the video was filmed on Heisman difficulty level with Texas State (D overall) vs. Alabama (A+ overall, #1 team in the nation).  The video below shows the glitch as well as a few different ways stopping it.

Please please please don’t abuse this against unsuspecting people online.  Hopefully it gets patched up by EA Sports soon.  However if you have a buddy that is always beating you or annoying you, whip this play out for fun just to get a reaction out of him.
