Detailed NCAA Football 13 Team Ratings

ncaa football 13 overall rankings

The guys over at Tradition Sports Online put together a nice list of each teams ratings in NCAA Football 13.  Their list includes overall, offense, defense, and prestige ratings for every team in the game.

The first thing that caught my eye was the overall team ratings being higher than I remember.  It has always been much easier to be rated a 99 in NCAA Football in Madden but when 5 teams are rated 99 overall, it does seem like a re-adjustment of the ratings should be made.  Those teams with the 99 overall rating are LSU, Oregon, USC, Texas, and Wisconsin.  Umass has the honor of being rated the lowest team with a 60 overall rating.

The ratings are listed as a reference below. Who do you think is overrated or underrated?  Let us know in the comments section or in our NCAA Football 13 forum.

E3 Footage 49ers v. Seahawks

More footage of Madden 13 came out from E3 today which gives us 9 minutes of HD gameplay. Even though the Seahawks vs. the 49ers isn’t exactly a marquee matchup it still gives us a look at what to expect this August.

Make sure to take a look at the new team introductions and listen to the new commentary of Phil Simms and Jim Nantz.

Madden 13 will be released August 28th, 2012.

NCAA 13 CPU vs. CPU Gameplay From E3

Another NCAA Football 13 video came out of the EA booth at E3 today.  The video below shows a cpu vs. cpu game featuring West Virginia and Texas.  It doesn’t show us too much but if you haven’t had a chance to play the demo yet or if you are just looking for some extra gameplay footage, take a look at the video.

NCAA Football 13 is still set to come out on July 10th, 2012.

First Look At NBA 2K13 Gameplay

Spike TV got a hold of the first gameplay footage for NBA 2K13.  Although we only got a brief look at a clip of the San Antonio Spurs vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder, we did get some good information from the video.

The trailer also includes a look of at the all-star weekend with an emphasis on the slam dunk contest.  The video is embedded below.  Check back later this week for more videos from NBA 2k13.

THQ Closes Down San Diego Studio

Since THQ has sold their UFC license to EA, as we reported yesterday, they have decided to close down the studio that was responsible for making games in the UFC Undisputed series.  Every person in THQ’s San Diego studio has been notified of the decision and will either find work at EA Sports or have to find a new job.

THQ received a nice cash payment in exchange for their UFC license which the company badly needed so this decision has gotten mixed reactions.  THQ’s CEO Brian Farrell had this to say, “THQ confirms that today’s announcement regarding the UFC license transition will affect the company’s San Diego studio. THQ is working closely with those relevant staff to either find possible employment within the company, or potentially with EA.”

EA Sports Skating Demonstration at E3

Most of the other EA Sports games at E3 have had huge news released over the last few days.  NHL 13 seems to be really the only exception.  Today EA Sports released another trailer on their all new true performance skating feature live from E3.

They break down exactly what you can expect from true performance skating in NHL 13.  The team analyzes qualities like top end speed and explosiveness in this trailer.  Check it out below.
