Fans of the upcoming FIFA 13 game can look forward to 5 major improvements this year including First Touch Control, Tactical Free-Kicks, Player Impact, Complete Dribble, and Attacking AI.  According to the head FIFA 13 producer, David Rutter, most of the annoying bugs in FIFA 12 have been worked out so that means no more unrealistic animations or physics bugs.  When you combine these changes with the new digital imaging system that was announced last week, FIFA 13 is on track to be an amazing game.

NCAA Football 13 Dynasty Improvements

The team at EA Sports is taking another step in the right direction with the NCAA Football 13 dynasty mode.  While it isn’t as exciting as the announcement about gameplay a few weeks ago, there are still a few new features to get excited about.  Some of these updates include:

  1. Rece Davis joins the broadcast crew of Kirk Herbstreit, Bred Nessler, and Erin Andrews providing authentic commentary.
  2. Recruiting grades can now change on a weekly basis based on your performance the week before.
  3. There will be live in-game studio updates.
  4. An ESPN bottom line ticker to keep you informed on the happenings around the dynasty.
  5. Various scouting and recruiting improvements.

FIFA 13 Will Have More Realistic Faces

While FIFA 12 was a giant step forward for the series, EA Sports looks to continue their dominance of the virtual pitch.  It has been confirmed that FIFA 13 will feature new digital imaging designed to make it much easier to recognize your favorite players from a distance as well as up close.  EA Sports has partnered with Dimensional Imaging to produce a 3D likeness that we have never seen before.

We still don’t have too many details concerning FIFA 13 but it is usually around this time that details start to emerge.  When they do, we will keep you posted.

Madden 13 Playbooks 1 and 2 Videos

EA Sports has released 2 more videos on Playbooks 1 and 2 in Madden NFL 13.  The first goes over presentation and the second outlines improvements to gameplay.  There are still 5 more playbooks that will be revealed before Madden 13 comes out on August 28th.  Check out the 2 videos below.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Reveal Trailer

While we cover sports video games 99% of the time, today we are taking a break to bring you some huge news coing out of Activision: The official announcement of Black Ops 2.  The announcement comes with a 2 minute reveal trailer which is more of a teaser than anything else but nevertheless it looks to be another awesome game in the Call of Duty franchise.
