A new batch of MLB 12 The Show screenshots have been released. The most notable part of the screenshots is showcasing the new default camera angle. You will also notice the new score banner at the top of the screen as well as a few other minor things. Click on the screenshots for higher resolution.
One of the biggest weaknesses of the NCAA Football franchise is the inability to implement roster updates throughout the season. In most other sports games, if a player is having an amazing season, it will be reflected in his ratings in the game. So when we break down the 3 most electrifying players in NCAA Football 12 keep in mind that they may not be the most electrifying players in real life.
3. Robert Griffin III – If there were roster updates, he would easily be at #1 overall. The Heisman trophy winner is probably the most electrifying player in college football but that doesn’t give him the crown when it comes to NCAA Football 12. RG3 can do it all but what makes him special is his ability to outrun an entire defense while making it look easy.
2. Jeff Demps – His 99 speed rating makes him easily the fastest player in the game. Unfortunately, the Florida Gators aren’t nearly as good as they have been in past NCAA games so you may not get to use Demps if you want to compete with teams such as Alabama or Oklahoma. Once he gets a step on the defense he is gone.
1. Denard Robinson – Nearly everyone would agree that Denard Robinson is not a top 10 player, but when it comes to the virtual gridiron he is unstoppable. He has good arm strength, passing accuracy and is faster than most running backs and wide receivers. Anyone who has played against Michigan in NCAA 12 knows just how hard it is to slow the guy down. If you come across a good player who is using Michigan, your only hope is to try to knock Robinson out of the game.

Free kicks in Fifa 12 can make or break the outcome of a match. In this video, the folks at EA Sports go over the best way to convert more driven free kicks. You will want to select a player with good strength and accuracy ratings to take the free kick. Also, make sure that the ball is 30 yards or more away from the goal in order to use this technique. This year has been by far the most impressive ever in terms of roster updates in the madden franchise. Since week 1, there has been a roster update for Madden 12 every week (even Thanksgiving week). However, due to the holidays there will be no roster update this Friday. The roster updates will resume next week January 6th, 2012 and continue through the Super Bowl.
I think I speak for every online madden player when I say, “Thank you EA Sports!” I remember the days when we would go weeks at a time without any updates. You guys have really stepped your game up the last few years and we are all appreciative.
The quarterback position in madden 12 is more important than ever before. Having a good qb makes the game easy, while having a bad qb makes completing a 10 yard pass nearly impossible. So we decided to put together a list of the top 5 quarterbacks in madden 12.
5. Tim Tebow – If you know how to use him, Tim Tebow can be a great weapon. The defense can’t just put 1 defender in a qb spy because Tebow will run him over. A common weakness made by Bronco users is trying the run with Tebow or throw a streak route 50 yards downfield and hope for the best. If you are disciplined and run a well balanced offense, you can give defenses fits in madden 12.
4. Drew Brees – The pinpoint accuracy that Brees has developed over the last 5 years is remarkable and it translates very well to the madden franchise. Whether you are throwing a quick slant or a deep post, you can count on Drew Brees to put the ball right on the money. You can bullet pass without worrying about overthrowing your wide receivers and using Brees as your qb allows you to use the precision pass feature with ease. The only downside of playing with Brees is his lack of mobility.
3. Michael Vick – There have been many years where Michael Vick would be at the top of this list but because of the year the Eagle’s have been having, he moves a few notches down. Vick has suprising accuracy for a mobile qb and is by far the most electrifying quarterback in Madden 12. His inconsistency and fumbling problems have always been his downfall and that is no different this year.
2. Tom Brady – A consistent qb with great ratings across the board, Tom Brady has been one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and Madden for a decade. He can make all the throws and finds a way to avoid sacks in Madden 12 even though he isn’t the fastest or strongest guy. He has no real flaws that stand out except some may view his speed as a negative. However, if you are using Tom Brady you shouldn’t be running all that much anyway.
1. Aaron Rodgers – Aaron Rodgers is the perfect Madden quarterback. He has high speed ratings, high accuracy ratings, and high throw power ratings. Many quarterbacks make this list because they have no weaknesses. Aaron Rodgers stands out from the pack because every attribute he has is a strength. He makes any team he used with much better. He is a lock to make the list for top 5 Madden nfl QB’s of all-time.
Honorable Mention goes to Peyton Manning. If he wasn’t injured this year he would make this list. Feel free to comment below on who should or shouldn’t have made the cut.
THQ’s popular mixed martial arts game, UFC Undisputed 3, is now scheduled to be released on February 14th, 2012. UFC gamers will have to choose between playing UFC 3 the day it is released or keeping their wives and girlfriends happy on Valentines Day. The original release date was in January 201, but was pushed back a month (maybe for those girlfriends who don’t know what to get for their valentine).
UFC Undisputed 3 will be released on the XBOX 360 and the PlayStation 3 just like the previous editions of the game and will feature 2 additional weight classes. One of the bigger additions that will get the hardcore MMA fans excited is the ability to fight in PRIDE organization which no longer exists.
