The UEFA Euro 2012 trailer is now out and it looks awesome! It will be released as downloadable content for FIFA 12 instead of a standalone product this year. You will be able to get your hands on the DLC starting on April 24th, 2012 for 1,800 Microsoft points or $20 dollars. There has been lots of hype going around NFL communities about the new Nike uniforms that will be worn next year. That excitement has carried over to the virtual gridiron where today EA Sports debuted it’s art for the new Nike uniforms in the upcoming football video game, Madden NFL 13. You will be able to see slight color changes for various teams as well as different stitching and lots of other cool details.
While the large majority of Madden fans care about improving gameplay authenticity, making Madden 13 more visually appealing will not hurt at all. Let us know what you think in the comment section.
The Madden NFL 13 cover tournament advanced to the final 8 this morning. There hasn’t been near the same level of support for underdogs as there was last year which should be a good thing for both fans and EA Sports. The quarterfinals will pair Cam Newton vs. Larry Fitzgerald, Patrick Willis vs Victor Cruz, Aaron Rodgers vs. Ray Rice, and Calvin Johnson vs. Rob Gronkowski.

EA Sports has listed PlayStation Vita as a console that you will be able to play Madden 13 on. After the relative success FIFA 12 had on the PS Vita it looks like Electronic Arts is expanding it’s PlayStation Vita presence to other sports video games including Madden 13.

The first significant news on this year’s NCAA Football 13 game came out today on the EA Sports website. The team in charge of making NCAA Football 13 held a live webcast to go over some of their thoughts on NCAA 13 and the direction they are taking it. The focus today was all about sights and sounds.
Some features we get to look forward to are a new and more advanced lighting system, trophy presentations, more realistic crowd chants and improved in-game commentary. For most of us dedicated football fans, today was just a teaser. On April 17th, the NCAA Football 13 team will go over gameplay. The Madden 13 cover vote has been under way for a few weeks now and because of it’s wild success EA Sports is expanding the idea to other sports video game titles like NHL 13. The NHL 13 cover vote begins today over on NHL.com with 2 representative from each team. The first round runs through April 11th when the tournament will be narrowed down to 30 players.
In the round of 30, the 16 players with the most overall votes will advance to the round of 16 where it will proceed as a normal tournament. Who would you like to see on the NHL 13 cover?
