Sony released a Youtube video today going over controls for MLB 12: The Show on the PlayStation Move. This year the move controller is fully integrated into the game meaing anything you can do with a PS3 controller you can do with the Move. The video below goes over how to pitch, bat, field, and baserun. The attention to detail is impressive with the controller allowing you to do even advanced moves like picking a runner off or laying down a bunt.

2K Sports has released another roster update for the only sim basketball video game on the market this year, NBA 2K12. This update signals that they are back on the road of consistent roster updates after the long break were they were trying to address the PlayStation 3 loading problem which many users still are having trouble with. Listed below are some of the notable changes in this roster update.

Dwyane Wade went down 96-95
Paul Milsap went up 80-82
Demarcus Cousins went up 71-78
Tyreke Evans went up 76-80
Deron Williams went down 88-87

Madden NFL 13 NFC East Cover Players

The NFC East cover candidates for Madden 13 are now out! 2 representatives from the Giants, Redskins, Eagles, and Cowboys will have a chance to get on the Madden NFL 13 cover. Out of the 8 eligible players, 4 of them are pass rushers.

The most shocking selection in this group is Ryan Kerrigan from the Washington Redskins over teammate Laron Landry. EA Sports doesn’t seem to care about potential controversy putting Michael Vick into the tournament again this year (although I don’t see anyway they let him win).

There is no clear cut favorite that stands out from the rest at this point. Each first round matchup should be fairly close but it is unlikely that anyone from this division wins it all. Check out the full list of players from the NFC East below.

MLB 12: The Show PS3 & PS Vita Combo Deal

If you plan on buying both the PlayStation 3 and the PS Vita version of MLB 12: The Show you are in luck. PlayStation announced today that you will be able to get a combo deal for only $79.99. Individually the PS3 version costs for $59.99 and the PS Vita version costs $39.99 so if you are going to buy them both anyway you save $20.

As of right now there hasn’t been an official announcement on which retailers this offer is good through but Best Buy is very likely to be part of the deal since they have exclusive rights to playing MLB 12: The Show early. The promotion goes hand in hand with the cross platform compatibility feature that PlayStation has been pushing hard. Pretty much anything you do on one console you can save to the PlayStation Network and then use on the other console.

You can customize your logo and uniform any way you want it. You can also edit any of your players and train them to become an all star. Dynasty cards range from bronze to platinum. They can include up to 5 tool bonuses like power, contact, speed, etc.

You will have to spend your budget wisely to train your team. Of course if you run out and don’t want to earn more the hard way, you can purchase extra credits through the PlayStation Store. There are too many cool new features to list here but the video below does a great job of explaning them.

Madden 13 AFC East Cover Candidates Released

The cover candidates represent the AFC East have been revealed. 2 players from the each team (Dolphins, Bills, Patriots, and Jets) will have the opportunity to win over fans across the country. One of the most shocking omissions from the tournament is Patriots QB Tom Brady. This could be because EA Sports can’t afford to sign a deal with someone as big as Tom Brady or Brady is a superstitious man afraid of the Madden Curse.

The Buffalo Bills gave us the 2 weakest candidates in the field so far in QB Ryan Fitzpatrick and WR Stevie Johnson. Whoever gets out of their first round matchup will likely get demolished in the next round. The 2 favorites coming out of the AFC East are Darrelle Revis and Wes Welker. Both are the best at what they do and have loyal fans from big cities. Check out the full list below.
