Past Heisman Winners Lobby For NCAA Football 13 Cover

As we covered a few days ago, fans of NCAA Football 13 will have the chance to vote for which former Heisman Trophy winner will be alongside Robert Griffin III on the NCAA 13 cover.  Since this year is an election year, all 8 candidates were given 90 seconds to talk about why they should get your vote.

You can watch all 8 short videos below and then go vote at the EA Sports Facebook App.  Who will you vote for?

FIFA Street Available in the U.S.

FIFA Street is now available for purchase in stores or online in the United States.  For those of you in the United Kingdom FIFA Street will come out on March 17th.  If you still haven’t decided whether the game is for you, you can try out the FIFA Street demo in the XBOX Live marketplace and PlayStation store.  To get you excited about the game take a look at the tricks of the week from the EA Sports YouTube channel.

UFC Undisputed 3 First DLC Released

UFC Undisputed 3 is seriously struggling to gain traction among fans of mixed martial arts and casual video gamers.  However the downloadable content will continue to roll out.  If you payed $17 extra to get the “season pass” you get this update (as well as all other updates for free) but if you didn’t you can purchase this DLC which contains Joe Lauzon, Rory MacDonald, Sam Stout, Anthony Johnson, and Charles Oliveira for $5.

Five more fighters will be released in April which will cost you even more money for a game that is still having plenty of problems.  You can check out the YouTube video for the Fight of The Night DLC below.

Earlier today Electronic Arts released their timeline for unveiling features in NCAA Football 13.  Starting on April 2nd and ending on June 11th five “playbooks” (features) will be announced.  You can check out a brief summary of the features below taken directly from the EA Sports website.

Playbook #1: Sights & Sounds (April 2)
Revel in the pageantry of college football game days with NCAA Football 13. Featuring new team run-outs, mascots and pre-game traditions along with significantly enhanced audio and new trophy presentations, NCAA Football 13 will deliver the passion and excitement of college football to fans across the nation.

Playbook #2: Gameplay (April 17)
With a new passing system that changes the way quarterbacks and receivers play and respond, combined with a new read and react defensive AI system, NCAA Football 13 delivers greater realism on the virtual gridiron.

Playbook #3: Dynasty (May 7)
Game days come to life with mid-game updates featuring a new studio analyst, plus enhanced commentary from NCAA Football veterans Kirk Herbstreit and Brad Nessler. Recruiting now goes deeper than ever with the addition of dynamic grades and the ability to scout players. Plus, there are even more ways to interact with your Dynasty from the web.

Playbook #4: Heisman Challenge (May 28)
There are familiar faces on the field in NCAA Football 13, which now features a selection of former Heisman Trophy winners. With the new Heisman Challenge mode, fans have the ability to utilize the skill set of a legendary Heisman Trophy winner in a quest to match his award-winning historical performances and win the Heisman trophy once again.

Playbook #5: Road to Glory (June 11)
The experience of being a college football superstar is now even more exciting with a new feature in Road to Glory that allows players to see and feel the game differently during key moments, increasing on-field awareness and creating amazing opportunities.

NCAA Football 13 Former Heisman Cover Voting Begins

Robert Griffin III was announced a few weeks ago as the cover athlete for NCAA Football 13 but many people noticed that there was a spot for a second person on the cover.  That second person will be a former Heisman trophy winner which fans will be able to choose.

EA Sports has set up an 8 man tournament of those Heisman winners with first round matchups of Barry Sanders vs. Andre Ware, Eddie George vs. Desmond Howard, Marcus Allen vs. Herschel Walker, and Doug Flutie vs. Charlie Ward.  The voting starts today at on the EA Sports Facebook page app.  Each round will last 7 days with the winner being revealed in 3 weeks.

FIFA Street Now Available To Season Ticket Holders

FIFA Street is back for those of you who payed $25 dollars for access to all EA Sports games 3 days early.  If you are a huge fan of games like Madden, FIFA, NHL, NCAA Football and other sports titles then buying the season pass is a great investment.  If you are just a casual gamer who only plays a few games then maybe not so much.

The download for FIFA Street will expire Tuesday morning when you will be forced to either go buy the game or stop playing it altogether.  If you are a season ticker subscriber let us know your thoughts on FIFA Street in the comments section.
