Madden 13 Website Goes Live

A few weeks ago we pointed out that the EA Sports NCAA Football 13 website went live and now the transition has been made from Madden 12 to Madden 13.  Right now it is a very simplified website with new features and announcements to come later.  You can still check out the official Madden forums or blog which are on their website full time.

As of today the only major news about Madden 13 is the cover tournament going happening right now on Facebook. As more news comes out, we will pass it along to you.

Las Vegas Odds on Madden 13 Cover Athlete

You can now bet on which of the 64 players will be selected for the Madden 13 cover.  Las Vegas has set odds on the players that have any realistic chance of winning ranging from Tim Tebow with 5 to 1 odds to Dwayne Bowe with 100 to 1 odds.  The first round of the tournament ends on March 21st when the field will be narrowed down to 32 players.  Check out the detailed odds below.

NBA 2K12 Trade Deadline Roster Update

The NBA trade deadline has come and pasted with a lot of minor moves taking place.  A roster update for NBA 2K12 was released today to move players to the right teams.  For some reason Gerald Green is still missing from the Nets roster and Anthony Carter is not on the Pacers roster but everything else looks good.  You can see a list of the major moves below:

Past Heisman Winners Lobby For NCAA Football 13 Cover

As we covered a few days ago, fans of NCAA Football 13 will have the chance to vote for which former Heisman Trophy winner will be alongside Robert Griffin III on the NCAA 13 cover.  Since this year is an election year, all 8 candidates were given 90 seconds to talk about why they should get your vote.

FIFA Street Available in the U.S.

FIFA Street is now available for purchase in stores or online in the United States.  For those of you in the United Kingdom FIFA Street will come out on March 17th.  If you still haven’t decided whether the game is for you, you can try out the FIFA Street demo in the XBOX Live marketplace and PlayStation store.  To get you excited about the game take a look at the tricks of the week from the EA Sports YouTube channel.

UFC Undisputed 3 First DLC Released

UFC Undisputed 3 is seriously struggling to gain traction among fans of mixed martial arts and casual video gamers.  However the downloadable content will continue to roll out.  If you payed $17 extra to get the “season pass” you get this update (as well as all other updates for free) but if you didn’t you can purchase this DLC which contains Joe Lauzon, Rory MacDonald, Sam Stout, Anthony Johnson, and Charles Oliveira for $5.

Five more fighters will be released in April which will cost you even more money for a game that is still having plenty of problems.  You can check out the YouTube video for the Fight of The Night DLC below.
