The demo for FIFA Street hit both PlayStation Network and XBOX Live this morning. The demo is fairly large at 1.89 GB but has a lot of features including 5-a-side mode, create-a-player, practice mode, and a friendly match. You can choose from four teams: Manchester City, Milan, Adidas All-Stars, and Street Swirl.

The cover candidates for the upcoming Madden 13 tournament started making their way out. Today EA Sports released the 8 players that are eligible from the AFC West. One division will be announced every day until the start of the tournament on March 7th.
The Oakland Raiders have the 2 most unique players up for selection in kicker Sebastian Janikowski and punter Shane Lechler. I can already see some fans with a great sense of humor going all out to get a special teams player on the cover. Whether EA Sports allows that to happen is another story entirely.
Tim Tebow and Von Miller represent the Denver Broncos. Tebow is the odds on favorite to run away with the competition but no one expected Peyton Hillis to pull off an upset in every round on his way to the Madden 12 cover so Tebow is far from a sure thing.

The developers of NBA Live 13 announced one of the coolest promotions the sports video games community has seen in a long time. Starting February 27th and ending March 9th, you can apply to be on the NBA Live 13 advisory council. If you are selected as part of the council, you will be able to work with and provide feedback to the EA NBA Live team in Florida. If you are interested, send an email to easportsnba_adcouncil@ea.com with 100 words or less about why you should be a part of the advisory council. The winners will be selected by the NBA Live 13 development team. This type of fan feedback is a giant step in the right direction for the NBA Live franchise in it’s quest to overtake NBA 2K.
The rankings for each team in MLB 12 The Show have been released. Below you can find all 30 MLB teams ratings in overall, hitting, pitching, and defense. The New York Yankees are listed as the top overall team while Astros are considered the worst. In related news, it was confirmed today that there will be no demo for MLB 12 The Show as we speculated yesterday.

We have received word that Robert Griffin III will be featured on the cover of NCAA Football 13. There seems to be a focus on Heisman winners this year so this announcement shouldn’t shock anyone. According to PastaPadre, RG3 will share the cover with a past Heisman trophy winner who will be decided in the same tournament style as the Madden 13 cover.
Beginning on March 12th fans will be able to vote for what former Heisman winner will share the cover with RG3 on Facebook. Barry Sanders, Desmond Howard, Marcus Allen, Doug Flutie, Eddie George, Herschel Walker, Charlie Ward, and Andre Ware will be the names to choose from.
